GO FOR IT!

There is nothing hard about learning to fly except overcoming the natural fear of the unknown. The best way to do this is to make apointments to go to your local airports flying schools. Tell them you are thinking of learning to fly. If they don’t offer you a tour and make you feel comfortable then simply go on to the next flight centre. Keep doing this until you find one you feel comfortable at (people, atmosphere, etc). We think you will at Take Flight Aviation! then get that introductory flight. Careful though, because then you’ll be hooked.

You are the customer, they should be friendly, and knowlegable. Find an instructor at one of these place that you feel you connect with. He will be your teacher, mentor, and guide. So he/she has to be able to communicate in a way YOU can easily understand. A good question to ask a potential instructor is, “What do you love most about flying?”. That kind of question gives you some insight into the person who’ll be guiding you to your wings.

They should be flying/instructing because that’s their passion with the desire to infect you with that same passion - then you are onto a winner!

You'll need to make the commitment of time to do the studying. Believe it or not, this is the hardest part. The information is essentially high school level,so it’s not too tough. Learning to control an airplane is actually easy. Learning all the regulations, weather, aeronautical science, etc. is the hard part .

You CAN do it !

If you can afford it fly a MINIMUM of one hour per week.

If I can do it ANYONE can.
