TAKE FLIGHT MERCHANDISE
Hoodiephobia or Hoodie Objectionable & Offensive Discrimination (HOOD for short) has almost been eradicated, so maybe it’s time you got down with the kids and find the secret as to why hoodie wearing teenagers never want to speak. (Maybe it's because they're just too comfortable). The soft 80% ring spun soft cotton fabric has a classy ribbed cuff and hem with twin needle stitching and you can wear it in the knowledge that it has "WRAP" certified production. No that doesn't mean wearing it will turn you into Jay Z, it just means its ethically produced. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production to be precise. The front pouch pocket even has an internal opening for earphones in case you want to whip out your old Walkman! Our hoodie has a smart Take Flight Aviation logo on the breast, a carefully hidden web address under the hood and Wellesbourne and Oxford coordinates and frequency motifs on both arms all beautifully embroidered. Available, as Henry Ford almost once said, in any colour so long as it's blue and at a tenth of the cost that a model T would have cost you in the 1920’s. So come on what's stopping you getting back to your nineteen and twenties, you'll be looking #Sick and #TotesAmazeballs down in the hood, before you can say BHS!
If we called it a body warmer you might think the price tag was a little on the high side but “gilet” sounds proper posh! It’s not that often that you hear the words stylish and polyester in the same sentence, but this popular item of Take Flight Apparel is just that. Available in Mens or fitted Ladies sizes in deep navy blue this is a premium product as found in high end retailers and proudly labelled Made in England.
It has a stand up collar with moleskin lining embroidered to the rear with the Take Flight web address. The lightweight quilting is both practical and trendy and the popped zip cover to the front with a subtle Take Flight breast logo completes the look . The gilet offers warmth whilst leaving your arms free to control your favourite aircraft and two fleece lined pockets help keep your little hands toastie when you arrive at your destination. There’s an internal zip pocket, ideal for sunglasses, but be careful you might just look simply too cool for flight school!
Let’s face it, the nearest some of our members and pilots have got to Rugby is junction 17 on the M1, and as for playing the game they’re more likely to have read Rupert Brooke poetry, but if ever there was a Rugby shirt that you could fall in love with, then this is it “all this is love; and all love is this”. Made in 100% ring spun 300gsm thick premium grade cotton with rubber buttons (kinky) this hard wearing wardrobe workhorse will outlast your favourite jeans and although colours may fade you love for this comfy shirt will surely last forever. Embroidered on the front breast with Take Flight Aviation logo you can wear your shirt with pride. Flip up the white collar and the Take Flight web address is revealed. The right arm features a trendy design which incorporates the coordinates of Wellesbourne, radio frequency and ICAO code. Available in any colour so long as it’s navy blue and a variety of sizes, this shirt with traditional styling, twin needle hem, elastane ribbed cuffs and taped shoulders, is guaranteed to make you look as gorgeous as Jonny Wilkinson in his best bib and tucker and if anybody tells you different they’re just jealous!
You’d probably expect the best flying club around to have the best USB stick in the world, and congratulations you’re right! This sophisticated top of the range USB flash drive has a luxurious look and feel. The Take Flight Aviation embossed outer black leather strap wraps around the drive's body, closing with a magnetic clasp which protects the USB connector. The chrome finish of the body ensures that this baby really stands out from the crowd.
If USB’s are your thing, then it simply doesn’t get any better than this! The 2GB stick is available either blank or pre-loaded with all our aircraft Pilot Operating Handbooks. Great bedtime reading and a handy key ring accessory. Comes in engraved presentation tin and makes the perfect gift for the pilot who has everything (except a snazzy USB stick).
This is no ordinary log book this is a Take Flight Log Book. What can you say about a log book, that hasn’t already been said? It’s a book you use to log flights. That said we’ll do our best to fill the space left by the good people at the web design company. As you’d expect the logbook conforms to air navigation order requirements. Used by student and private pilots alike this little blue book contains approximately 120 printed pages.
It details the owners name and address, just like your best school exercise book did, plus particulars of licences held, (flying that is, we have no real interest in your dog or TV licence). It also has space for your previous flying experience, handling notes (oo’ err misses), certificate of qualification as P1, aircraft flown, aerodromes visited and most importantly flights - showing date, aircraft type, reg, captain's name, operating capacity, departure/arrival aerodromes and times, single/multi-engine, day/night, dual/P2, Instrument etc. etc. - you get the picture, if not stay on the ground!
“To Bobble or Not to Bobble that is the question”, as William Shakespeare almost once enquired, as these hats come with an optional two tone grey and blue bobble. Now there’s a dilemma you weren’t expecting today! Whichever you choose it should be hats off to us, as we’ve been voted Stratford upon Avon’s, best small business of 2017! So to quote the towns famous Bard once again “Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown, so we’ll wear a Beanie instead and turn the frown upside down!” OK so we made the second bit up!
