TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Club membership is required for package deals, pay as you go instruction and aircraft hire. Temporary membership is included with trial lesson gift vouchers.
Our instructors are paid directly at £30 per flying hour, briefing before and after instructional flights is not charged. Instructional fees are also payable on supervised solo flights as is standard industry practise.
Our prices include aircraft hire, fuel, home landing fees at Wellesbourne Mountford or London Oxford and VAT. There are no other supplements or credit card charges.
Other Expenses you will incur in studying for your Private Pilots Licence will include away landing fees on cross country flight of between £10 and £20 depending on the airport. Written exams are charged at £25 per exam which can be sat at Take Flight Aviation. You will also be required to take a practical radio test, this costs between £50 and £100 depending on the examiner. We can also recommend a weeks residential course which includes taking the all the exams and radio exam. You will also require a medical before flying solo at a cost of between £100 and £125 depending on the medical practitioner. Follow this link to local CAA authorised medical examiners. Your flight test will cost between £175 and £200 depending on the examiner and the CAA charge to issue your pilots licence.

TAKE FLIGHT AVIATION GIFT VOUCHERS
Please note that in order to redeem a Take Flight Aviation gift voucher, you must bring your proof of purchase (i.e receipt) along with you at the time of your lesson and have your receipt reference number when booking the lesson. If the voucher is a gift and you want to avoid giving away the cost, add the reference number and date of purchase to the voucher. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase. Flights taken in 3/4 seater Pipers can accommodate one additional passenger/observer with an interest in learning to fly.
Only one starter package purchase per student is allowed i.e. 5, 10 or 45 hours. Prices do not include instruction paid directly to the instructor at £30 per hour. Club Membership required. No supplements or price increases will be charged providing training is taken within 12 months of purchase. Training taken in a different aircraft to package paid will be reduced from account balance at the standard student rate for the aircraft flown. Only one starter pack is allowed per student.
