Bruges Easter Fly-Out 201714th - 17th April 2017. A total of 6 aircraft 1 x C172, 3 x PA-28's, 1 x PA-32 and 1 x PA-46 made the Easter trip to Ostend/Brugge airport in Belgium. From the airport it was a short train ride to the pretty, medieval town of Bruges, often nicknamed ‘Little Venice’.
Bruges is easy to get around by foot, but we also all took the boat tour whilst staying in the Historic Centre of Bruges with it's wonderful architecture. The Market, our daily meeting place, is the heart of Bruges and home to the Belfry, which stands looking out across the square. We undertook various educational tours including the history of Belgium beer and chocolate! Thanks to Amanda, Dan, Denis, Derek, Hudson, Jacob, Janine, Katie, Martin, Michelle, Mike, Rachel, Rob, Sabrina, Sharlene and Thomas for making it such an enjoyable and memorable trip. Hudson (four and a half) was definitely the star of the show, great company and without doubt the most responsible adult of the weekend. |
