TURWESTON CURRY EVENING.

1st August 2019  Our regular first Wednesday meeting moved to the first Thursday in August to take advantage of Turweston's curry evening at the Flight Deck cafe. Five aircraft and seventeen members and guests (including Jake on his 7th birthday) descended on the airfield to enjoy a tasty curry with our reserved long table overlooking the lake and runway at this stunning airfield. There was a choice of Chicken tikka masala or jafrezi curry with rice, samosas, poppadums and chutney.

Located just three miles from Silverstone motor racing circuit, some took the opportunity to overfly it on the way home, followed by a drink at the Baraset Barn to finish off a great evening.  Thanks to all the Turweston team for making us so welcome and it was good to catch up with  to some friends from the CAA, Turweston flying club and the cafe team. I'm sure it won't be long before we're 'cumin' to see you again!.
