Hinton Airfield Evening Fly-Out 19.

Wednesday 7th June 2019. For the last fourteen years Take Flight has held regular club meetings on the first Wednesday of every month. These consist of talks and local evening fly-outs.  Once again we returned to Hinton in the Hedges with a total of nine aircraft and twenty one people making the short eighteen mile trip to the airfield in South Northamptonshire.

The crew took a leisurely stroll following Mikes map across perry tracks and bridleways to the village and the 15th Century Crewe Arms pub, where we enjoyed our pre-ordered dinner and where passengers could enjoy a wine, beer or cider. Our CFI  entertained as always with a short speech extolling the virtues of Take Flight and pointing out this is one of forty events this year. It was great to see both old and new faces and some non-aviators enjoying the experience as passengers.
