Legends Christmas Party 19

21st December 2019. The theme of this years Christmas party was Legends, celebrating the Legends of the Take Flight family and looking back at some of our Legendary Christmas parties and fly-outs.

It did feel like a family affair too, with members old and new  celebrating first solos and new PPL's. Eman received the Hamish Simmonds Achievement Award for her first class work organising the action group Pilots of Wellesbourne and managing to gain her PPL in a year and four days despite her very busy schedule! Bob received a special award made from a 737 fan blade for being a true Take Flight Legend acknowledging his hard work on production for the party and support all year round. The fantastic live music was supplied by "Crafty Bligha" featuring Take Flight member Ollie on guitar which was accompanied by former Take Flight member Mike Darby's stunning laser show.

Once again there was an amusing John Lewis Christmas commercial Take Flight edit, a Legend or Leg-Ends quiz, lots of drinks, shots and dancing till 4am! Another great night with thanks to John and all the team at the Charlecote Pheasant for being so accommadating and for all the TFA team Bob, Sam and Hana for all their hard work making the room look amazing
