CESSNAs
Take Flight currently operate six CESSNA planes; four Cessna 152s plus one tail dragger and a Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk.
CESSNA 152 (EO)
There’s over 7500 of these popular aircraft in circulation and this is a really fine example. Hundreds of thousands of pilots have learnt to fly in a trusty 152. You never forget your main training aircraft and first solo.
This great little two seat trainer is very popular with our Take Flight PPL student members training for a private pilots license at Wellesbourne airfield. This lovely machine has a fitted GPS unit to assist with flying away from the airfield and just the ideal aircraft for a quick evening bimble once you’ve achieved your PPL.

CESSNA 152 TAIL DRAGGER (RT)
There may be 7500 Cessna 152's in the world but this is a very rare example of only a handful of 152 tail dragger conversions. This means Take Flight Aviation can now offer tail wheel training in one of the worlds favourite aircraft. This is a beautiful example of the old classic and tail dragger flying will certainly sort the men out from the boys. To quote the Eagles very loosely, if you looking for a tail wheel aircraft "the queen of harts is always your best bet"

CESSNA 172 SP SKYHAWK (KE)
The Cessna 172 is the most successful aircraft in history as more aircraft have been built and sold than any other light aircraft. This modern fuel injected example of a traditional high wing old favourite has very few hours on the clock and is probably the best specification 172 you will ever find. You certainly won’t find an aircraft like this on any other flying club fleet. Complete with TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) integrated dual GPS and Auto Pilot, plus all the normal Avionics, our machine has more buttons than Cadburys! Big enough for 4 seats but versatile enough to land in Red Square! This aircraft is a modern take on a true classic. Check out our Virtual Tour where you can literally climb inside!

CESSNA 152 (GA)
The Cessna 152 was the modernisation of the 150 and was designed by Cessna to compete with the Beechcraft Skipper and Piper Tomahawk. It has been an enduring trainer since the late 1970's and it has proved its reliability for almost forty years. It's a very simple aircraft to fly and the high wing gives you an unrestricted view. It's certainly one of the most economical ways to learn to fly or take your close friends for a flight, the cosy cockpit will ensure they're close even if they weren't before! This is a very nicely equipped aircraft and we're proud to have it on the Take Flight fleet.
