Isle of Man TT Race Day Trip.8th June 2018
Take Flight have been attending the Isle of Man TT for many years and this year was no exception with another record attendance taking the 160 mile trip to the Isle of Man for the Senior TT race, the culmination of the two week event. Once again Hana was on hand to prepare 40 bacon sandwiches for the crew and passengers. There's no other race like the Isle of Man TT races held on the challenging 37 mile course with its bends, bumps, walls, manhole covers telegraph poles and over two hundred corners just to mention just a few hazards. Amazingly a world record was broken by Peter Hickman with an average lap speed of 135.492 mph, almost inconceivable on the road course, with top speeds in excess of 200 mph. |
