Jersey Easter 2018

​30th March - 2nd April 2018. 
Although poor weather reduced the number of attendees, our Easter trip to Jersey still went ahead. Our base for this long weekend was the amazing Radio Tower at Corbiere on South West tip of the island. One travel journalist described the view from the top as the best in Europe, so our expectations were high and it did not disappoint. The tower was built as a German look-out during the islands occupation at the time of the Second World War. The building has two metre thick walls with the more recent addition of a glass control tower at the top, added in 1976 by the States of Jersey Harbours and Airport Committee, before the property was renovated as holiday accommodation. This was our base for the usual fly-out activities of drinking, exploring, eating and even cycling expeditions.
